Raising Children Today for Tomorrow

What are your thoughts?

  • Should corporal punishment be reinstated in schools?

  • Do you think corporal punishment will make a change?

  • Can our teachers effectively teach students if they are not allowed to implement discipline or have order their classrooms?

  • Should a teacher have more responsibility teaching their class or spend 90% of teir time raising your children?

  • Is our current educational system effective or should it be changed to meet the needs of our children?

Oue children spend most or almost of their time away from their parents.  Our children spend almost all of their time at school.  Todays parents actually spend less time with their children than their parents did. Parents spend as much time as they can with their childen but the bottom line is our children are being taught by others and therefore if you don't intervene and spend more time with your child or children then they will learn and be what others are teaching them to be.

It is true that our children spend most of their day in school and with their teachers. But I don't believe that the task of raising them and disciplining them should fall on the shoulders of educators. Children should learn good behavior and good manners from their parents. Teachers are there to guide our children, meaning they are there to make sure that the behavior and manners learned at home continues in school. If parents take responsibility for disciplining their children properly, there is no need for corporal punishment in schools.

You are right almost all the children now are spending all of their time in school and outdoor because they go to school to study and to learn. There are good and bad factor of it. The good one is they become ready and smart to face reality and stages in life because instructors or teachers teaches them in school and the bad one is there’s a lack of family bonding and consulting with parents specially when their parents arrive in their house late from work. The key here is the time management of the parents because we all know that studying is a big factor in each and everybody so the parent should adjust their time to have some time talking and listening in their children agenda.
